Don't have a tape measure? Pace it out. One comfortable adult stride is about 0.75m — so 40 strides is roughly 30 metres. Close enough for now; we'll confirm it properly later.
What have you got at each end?
Trees need to be healthy, mature and well positioned. If you haven't got one, timber posts do the same job.

Does the ground slope along the run?
A zip wire needs a drop from start to finish. A sloping garden gives you that for free — a flat one just means starting a bit higher.
Which seat would you like?
